[Sponsor] ScreenConnect Self-Hosted Remote Support Software

6 weeks later ... he may have figured it out. Beyond that, wasn't really a matter of them giving me a "code" as it was me telling them that I was a member and them discounting the price.

Management software

Does it come with any management software? To monitor drives, event viewers and such? similar to that of the GFI and TeamViewer combination?

No it doesn't, ScreenConnect is just for remote control of another computer. (PC, MAC or Linux), the same as Teamviewer without GFI.

Has anyone installed 3.1 yet? Is it any better at getting past Norton?

I tried asking on their forum but got ignored. I am at the stage where I would need to pay to get this update and I am unwilling to do so if Norton still blocks it.

Just download a trial and test it, if no one will answer you.

Jake,

Has reboot and reconnect for Mac (non .net) platforms been added to the road map or are the "highest priories" you refer to something else?

Thanks.

We're already introducing a lot in 3.2 with our OS X app bundle client.

Other stuff to be done soon is better control of multiple monitors from the OS X host client.

Reboot and reconnect is high up the list too, but I'm not sure when it'll make it in. It requires a whole infrastructure of multiple processes, services, etc.
