I see on the ScreenConnect website that the price is $325. Can you still purchase for $275?

The price has gone up since this thread's first post 4+ years ago. That said, I'm pretty sure that a discount on ScreenConnect is one of the items that's part of the Technibble Computer Business Kit.
 
I guess the idea is for smaller shops to use the cloud hosted solution. We're going to have to re-evaluate and see if SC still makes the most sense for us on a value basis. Still a good product, but I think the value-priced self hosting option was a real differentiator for them.
 
what kills me with the Cloud options, is the small limits on the number of unattended clients - as a dual session licence on prem license holder, we have several hundred clients. even if I wanted to move to the cloud hosted licence, I would be hitting a hard limit pretty quickly.

Oh well, illl just keep using on prem for now, and if it gets shafted by future changes, just use the teamviewer integration in maxfocus.
 
I'm sure ScreenConnect would like you to continue using them, but without paying their license fee. You just need to switch to Labtech and you'll be all set.
 
I'd actually be OK if we'd bought a license when we looked at it a few months ago, or if I'd gone ahead and gotten one on my own to support a few side things. The new pricing just doesn't work for me.
 
I think it might be the opposite. People who bought before the price change are grandfathered in and can buy new licenses at the old pricing.

Companies that make this kind of change tend to eventually stop supporting the old way of doing things. Especially when a "major" version comes out. I'm glad that I didn't invest any money into them. Even if they support the old license system forever, if they aren't getting any new customers that will eventually kill the community. I was very excited about becoming their customer but they will just lose out on my business. Guess, I'm stuck with Teamviewer a little longer :(
 
I shot an email over to the Simple-Help folks asking if they were on any technibble-like sites and while they aren't, they said they have been getting a fair number of customers due to the ScreenConnect pricing change.

He also said
