kb5012599 update failed installation

kb5012599 update failed installation on pre ryzen system tried everything from video on below link anyone else have this issue bios is newest version as well.

There seems to be many people having issues with update as well many sysadmins with 100+ machines and home users looking at logs seems to be an issue with .net.

Note other updates will install fine i just installed 4 more but kb5012599 fails everytime

Yep, i had this issue the other day. I'm not sure whether it was related but it happened at the same time as a laptop with bitlocker enabled failed to boot. After some fiddling around decrypting the drive and running a restore i could boot again but this updated failed again (i tried it twice more) so in the end i hide the update and the customer has been happy since. I'm generally not in the practice of hiding updates but this one kept trying to install so there was no other way.
