I need a referral for someone in the South Bend & surrounding area. A good friend and customer of mine just dropped and shattered her iPhone screen in my driveway. Anyone doing screen replacements around here or know of a reliable tech that does?

Thanks in advance!

Not being mean about thism, but do it yourself. Takes about an hour. I've done 14 iPhones in the last week. I charge right around $90 + parts for this. There are guides everywhere, and the tools are cheap. You got this brother.

And the tools are normally included with the purchase of the screen. We got enough plastic pry bars to last for the longest time. We've started gluing them together and making items out of them.

I'm a little leery of doing it myself. I've heard horror stories of people trying it and damaging other things in the process. But... if there isn't anyone else in the area that specializes in this I will.

The plastic ones tend to be a use and toss but won't scratch. We might get two to three phones out of a plastic one.

Look at the guides, watch the videos, becareful, don't rush and you'll be fine. It will increase your customer base.

Just talked to the friend... she says her camera stopped working as well. When she opens the camera app it acts like it can't find the camera.

Will simply replacing the camera fix this, or is it more than that?

All the ones I have come across either need the camera replaced, or the connector has come loose.
