[SOLVED] Best Remote Software?

I find that it is often difficult to get a connection to their server, depending on time of day. If you want to open the file transfer function, it requires another connection to the server. Often not feasible when trying to provide service in a responsive manner. Also, for reasons I don't understand, it often fails to properly map the keyboard, e.g., the "$" doesn't work. I default to UltraViewer, which connects immediately and has no problem with keyboard mapping in the same minute that when RustDesk does.
I'm also using RustDesk, never had a connection issue as of yet. However, I just upgraded one of my clients from windows to linux, and installed their old spinning HDD for a backup storage. While connected with RustDesk, I highlighted the entire content of their Documents folder to make a copy onto the backup drive....as soon as I right-clicked on the files, RustDesk disconnected and showed the computer offline for security reasons I'm assuming.

My little TeamViewer RANT;
Years ago, I bought a premium TeamViewer license for $1,300 (ONE TIME FEE, unlimited computers). Years later they DEPRECATED that "one time" license. There support team told me, "you had the license long enough, you need to change to a subscription license"

Using RustDesk now, seems to be running nice. I like the List of Computers type of address book that you could see who was online or who was offline or had issues.

I'm hosting websites so there is a way to install it on a web server as self hosted so you can use the client computer lists. Major project for another day...

Yep that's where I started at but it was something business license for like $750 dollars.
