G-Sense_Error_Rate is it worth paying attention to?

I sometimes see laptops with ridiculously high G-Sense_Error_Rate's but they pass full sector scans just fine with no odd clicking noise and no data corruption issues.

What do you guys do when you see this?

Edit: Ive seen rates between like 2k and 200k

Not really, the higher number means they need to be more gentle with the laptop and quit tossing it around.

Either that or they left it on in their seat and went driving down a bumpy road everyday for the last 2 years.

Those customers I advise to turn off the laptop or hibernate it before moving it around if they can't be more gentle with it.

Thanks for asking this question, I've seen a few of these and wondered the same thing myself...
