Hi,

I have a client which have a web interface to view the security cameras. They use Activex which on windows 7 using IE 8 worked fine.

But recently he had to change the computer which now had windows 10.
I have tried to use IE 11, that comes with windows 10, enabled all ActiveX scripting, but it is not displaying the video.

I have also tried different browsers (Chrome, Opera, Firefox) which none of them worked.

Does anyone know a way around this?

I really appreciate the help.

Might be worth checking for any firmware updates.

I had a similar problem with a Foscam that would not work within Google Chrome. Turned out there was a firmware update that enabled it to work in Chrome and Internet explorer.

All I have is access to the web interface and this is the only screen I can see.
Since when I login it will be a blank page.

The client does not now the model and they are not easily accessed. so I don't have much to go on.

the computer is windows 10 pro 64 bit, core i5 cpu and 8GB ram.

bellow you can see the image of the web login screen.

You could setup a stock Win 7 install in Virtualbox on the Windoze 10 machine.

I tried to install windows 7 on virtual box, the problem was that I managed to log in, but the video was not displayed, it was black, even though I enabled the 3d acceleration and 128MB Video memory.

:(

Then I suggest you put together a Win 7 system and see what info you can find out about the hardware from logging in to the web page.

Does that at least get you to a settings page that can tell you the hardware involved?

Something to try....

Put the page into trusted sites (remove the require https checkmark) and enable "download signed activex controls" and "download unsigned activex controls". Also use compatibility mode for the page so ie11 pretends to be an earlier version.

It's worth a try.

EDIT: Looks like the system might come from Aimetis. They're up to Symphony v6: http://www.aimetis.com/

I had already tried that ... in this way, I managed to log in but could not see the video, without these options that you mentioned, I could not even log in.
