Zone Alarm on several client PCs

I've not heard of or seen Zone Alarm is many years and yet in the past week I have had 3 PCs walk in with this crap firewall on it. Win 7 doesn't need a 3rd party firewall. Is there some new ad campaign that is suckering all the goober PC users into installing this? You know the type. The ones that manage to download and install every PC tune up, fixer up, program on the internet. Until they load so much crap to fix up their crap that they need you to clean it out.

interesting 2 in 1 week. I havent seen more than maybe 1 in 2 years. I know they boast antivirus and antimalware now on the paid version. I used to use zonealarm years ago just to block the internet. But i creates GB and GB of data.

I have not seen a PC with zonealarm on it for years now, can't believe that ZA used to be good way back when

It's been years since I've seen zonealarm. I remembered it to be an awful resource hog and caused about half the issues the customer brought the computer in for.
