Three of us have exhausted all our research finding out how it have the Battery Icon show up on the Task Bar. Everything refers to the Personalization Menu in Settings. No cigar - we have not found any way to make it appear. We checked on several new Windows 11 laptops and they do show a battery icon. We updated the battery drivers in Device Manager. We are stumped. Any ideas????????????????? Thanks!

Reregister the taskbar using this method?

Open Powershell as Administrator

Paste the following Command in the Powershell window and hit enter.

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Wait for the process to finish and complete the command. When it finishes you should see the battery icon.

Try SFC, chkdsk and DISM as well.

Or last resort: Fabs and N&P?

maybe it is simpler than you think possible hidden in the up arrow ( hidden icons) drag it to the taskbar I am sure you already checked this but you never know I have wondered where it went a few times
