MysteryMan said:1) press start->run, type msconfig, in startup process uncheck all the unwanted processes (someone has said this before)
2)Use a registry cleaner ( i recommend registry mechanic)
3)Make sure your pc is free from all malwares(virues, trojons, spywares, adwares)
4)Defragment your hdd
I agree with linkpwns, stay away from registry cleaners. Besides, unused registries will not slow down your computer as they are... well.. unused. I personally leave them alone and keep unused registries to a minimum by uninstalling things properly.Do all of those things...but please be careful with the registry cleaners...one bad step and kaput...
