Browser Cert Error

Have an issue, any web browser I use throws out this error. Have disabled AV, reset network.

Disable AV
Reset Network - cleared all.
Checked Time
Changed DNS to Google
Set value to TRUE in security.enterprise_roots.enabled
Cleared SSL
No Proxy enabled
Cleared Cache and Temp files

Happens with ALL browsers, other systems on same network are fine?

Is it only for https sites? Or will it happen on standard http sites as well?

If it’s only https try running a windows update. Since I think windows 7 sp1 or something Microsoft has been including root certificates in the updates. Although If this was the issue I’d think you’d see a more specific ssl error. I.e unverified certificate or certificate expired...etc.

Have you tested the cable? Used an external WiFi adapter?

Yes that is what I did use initially to reset network.
@Tech Savvy I did run all latest updates - it is only https:// that is causing the issue. The email etc works though may as well try a new cable.
@Markverhyden have not tried new profile as yet.

I know you said multiple browsers, but have you cleared Chrome's DNS cache?

Go to chrome://net-internals/#dns and hit the only button there. Just a thought since we're down to grabbing at straws...

I managed to repair the other browsers somehow, though FF would not work so gave up.

What is the gateway? Only computer behind it? Or others..and they're not affected?

Not sure it's related but a customer of mine got an invalid cert error a couple days ago when he went to do his banking online. Upgrading Kaspersky made it go away. Try uninstalling the AV.

@YeOldeStonecat - Same gateway, 3 other systems on network and working fine.
@Larry Sabo - I did totally uninstall AV, same issue.
