I have been reading up some on making a bootable USB drive with Windows XP, Vista and 7 on it. I would also like to eventually have a USB drive that contains many of the ISO files I use on a daily basis so I can ditch all of my bootable CDs. Anyone know of a really good tool to get this done? I have worked with WinSetupFromUSB some, but I am looking to add more boot files than it offers. DoorToDoor Geek mentioned making an "Ultimate Thumb Drive" in Podnutz Daily episode 206 from Podnutz.com. I am not exactly sure how he make this thumb drive though.

AtYourService wrote up a guide for a bootable USB. Its quite indepth, and looks easy enough to follow ( i haven't done it myself tho )

And I don't know what the thread is called either .. Something 'bootable' im guessin, and im guessin' its under the 'Guides, Tips n Tricks' section somewhere.

i wouldn't ditch those cds just yet. i made a bootable usb of just about all my isos and wouldn't you know it, the next day i had a client that couldn't support usbs. had to reschedule haha.

i would just keep them around in the glove compartment or something, just in case. :]

more than likely the computers that dont support usb booting wouldnt be able to support win7/vista anyhow
