Blue screen troubleshooting help

Hi, I got in a Dell XPS9000 with 12 gb ram (factory) a added ssd which has only 19% (18 gb ) free space, a second standard drive with 40% free (1 TB) and he upgraded the GPU with a GTX 560 i7 back in May, new PS and it has nvidia graphics. Its been running fine until he moved and now he gets random bsod. I ran full offline scans found no infections and ran full offline system diagnostics and stress test for 20 mins, everything fine. The crash dump has only one instance and its the ntoskrnl.exe with the driver_irql_not_less_tan_equal issue. Naturally he only wants only a diagnostic so I can't do alot, but I'm thinking he should update the video driver but could it be the ssd is too full also? Any thoughts?

This all happened after he moved possible that he has too many electrical devices hooked up to one circuit, i have seen this MANY times before.
Or they have a bad /broken ground.

What brand SSD? There was an issue with Crucial SSDs blue screening after so many hours of use. Encountered it one time and fixed with firmware update.

I don't know, he's already picked it up, he agreed its probably the current to it from his new home, I had it running 24 hours with no bsod so I hope thats it.

"wants only a dignostic" - I hope you're billing by the hour to provide it.

These types of jobs can be very low pay and huge time-sucks.

If it was me, I would be giving it back and offering to charge a proper rate for the repair, as you may, literally, need to complete a repair in order to provide the 'diagnostic', if you get what I mean?

I regard to 'what to do' - its tests and swaps, just like any other repair. Thats why I suggest talking to him about a full rate, so you get paid for what you need to do.

I built a gaming system for a friend i did a burn in test and game burn in for 72 hours was rock solid, he took it home kept getting random bsod.
He brought it back to the store i put it back on the bench ran some games max resolution running bots for 4 hours no problems, i go to his house and down stairs in his basement i look at what is down there plug it in random bsod.
I pull out my electrical testers he had a tv, stereo,fridge, freezer, 4 lights and an air conditioner all on same circuit.
I took his system upstairs in his bedroom put it on his desk plugged it in and it worked tried some games no problems, they had an electrician drop buy and run new lines from panel to upgrade the current no problems after.
I had same problem with at least 20 customers in past one customer had 20 devices hooked to same circuit the lights would dim when fridge was running.
If an ssd was added after it may need a firmware update i have seen this before as well.
