Where to buy Windows XP these days?

Hi,

Have a client that would like to virtualize some CCTV software on her Windows 7 Home Premium laptop (wish it was 7 Pro, then I could just virtualize XP normally)

Going to install Oracle VirtualBox and run a virtual instance of XP from to get things moving, but I can't find a good reseller of XP anywhere. I've looked on eBay and Amazon, don't see anyone I would trust. Most of them look like they are selling refurbished copies.

Anyone got a good source for XP?

Might it be easier to buy a refurbished XP box and just use that? I can't think of any legal sources of XP now its was discontinued years ago.

Cheapest option might be put Windows 7 Pro on it. There might be an upgrade you can still buy.

Hi Charles, I know aria still stock xp.

Least they did couple of weeks ago, when I ordered a copy for a client.

You can just do a win7 anytime upgrade to win 7 pro i did one about 2 weeks ago

Yep, I looked into it...takes about 15 minutes to preform the upgrade and and costs £120 from Microsoft, bit on the expensive side but I think its probably the best way to do it.

I have a brand new Windows XP home OEM sealed if you are interested....would sell for $60 delivered within the US. This is below my cost of $87 but I havent had any calls for them so would love to move it.
