[SOLVED] Windows 10 Refurbisher Program. Does XP qualify to update to 10?

@fincoder: Thank you for this information.

@Prothos: I am a registered refurbisher. I could not find this information anywhere and am in the middile, like most, transition from what I have left of 7 keys over to 10.

What prompted my original post is that I have a business client who has some oddly high specced and surprisingly recent computers running XP with XP keys. Hence my reason to see if they would be workable to go from XP to 10 (or if I had to use my 7 keys).

OK, Please dont be offended with what I am going to say.
You can NOT use those refurbisher keys legally to upgrade those systems. You need to sell them RETAIL Win 10.

You would clearly be doing it to circumvent MS's rules.
Only if selling back to the original owner. I don't think Ron stated it was to upgrade for the client, just that the client had some computers he was looking at refurbishing. As I said he could be assessing how much they're worth for purchase or trade in.

Yeah, you could, but......
You would clearly be doing it to circumvent MS's rules. You would be better off to sell them newer hardware rather than skirting around the rules on old hardware.
Over and over we have "professionals" here appearing to either break the refurbisher rules or as @Slaters Kustum Machines stated skirting around the rules.

We are better than that. Or we are supposed to be.

No, not offended at all. This whole thread has been drawn out FAR more than it should have been. That is the answer I was trying to find out from the original post! It has really just spiraled way out of control from the original question I was asking. I am quite familiar with the rules of the program - but had NO information yet regarding the addition of Windows 10 to the mix.
