Thinking about a "Back-to-School" Special

So, I've been kicking around the idea of a flyer or postcard for the upcoming back-to-school season. Rather than just the usual ?% off of service, I was thinking about a package tailored to college students with laptops. Probably something that includes a health check, security audit, etc...

In addition I was looking into including the installation and configuration of stolen laptop tracking software, along with basic training on its use and options. My line of thinking is that this might be "different" enough to attract some attention.

Do you think this is likely to get any traction? Potential liability issues? Any other ideas for back-to-school?

I think it sounds like a great idea.. Any marketing idea can work if done right.. so dont give up

Maybe you can offer some software installs with the package to add value. Like Word or OpenOffice. Stuff that they would use a lot during school. It's not much, but it all adds up in the end.
