Sony Vaio PCG-7113L no power

Hey all. So I have this laptop here which was working fine and then suddenly shut off randomly. Since then, I cannot get it to power on. I've removed all power (including battery) and held the power button down for about 10 seconds and then plugged it back in and tried to power it on to no avail. The only thing I get is the battery and power lights flicking on for about half-a second to a second and then nothing. Anyone ever experience this before?

You can see it it will power on with the external AC adapter/DC charging input attached, but with no battery installed...

Beyond that, does not sound promising for a quickie turnaround...

Yeah it won't turn on without the battery either. Since this was a recent purchase for the customer, I'm going to tell him to get a refund.

Power Supply test out fine?

Is the jack loose?

I have seen power supplies power lights and what not but not enough power to turn unit on.
