Now that is getting cooler weather, what do you guys wear to the job-site? Being that I am a mobile tech I dress in a short sleeve polo shirt and khakis. However its getting a bit chilly for short sleeves now. Any ideas, thoughts or examples?
First, what ever you feel comfortable in. It is hard to beat khakis pants all year around for professional looks, comfort and cost. They go with formal black shoes or sneakers.
Second, shirts, I get 4 at a time embroidered and I have gotten everything from long sleeve cotton/mix poli button ups, polos, short sleeve cottons. I have even bought close out shirts at Dillards/JCpenneys for $5 each and took them to my embroiderer and paid him $5 each to put my logo on them.
Third, you can wear short sleeve all year around, doesn't look out of place but get a members only type jacket and or heavier. when you get to clients you are going to be in controlled airspace regardless.
So no need to change shirts, just a matter of what you like.
I've been doing this awhile so about 75% of all my clothes are logo-ed uniform shirts. I have some casual and some more formal, some read, green, khaki colored. So I wear something different every day but it always has a logo on it.
I went on a date last night to Bonefish grill, while there I realized I was wearing my Italian knit shirt (with logo). So I guess I wear them everywhere except church or weddings and funerals.
Cheers.
