New page question - not on main navigation?

A quick SEO question please - I've created an image on my Home page promoting Windows 7 end of life services. This image is clickable and points to a page which I've created.

As this page title doesn't really fit under any heading in the main navigation bar of the site, does having the page as a standalone page not on the main nav, have any detrimental effect on SEO?
Bearing in mind it's already on the Home page, am I worrying for nothing?

You mean to the main site? no not to my knowledge. It may have a tiny tiny detrimental effect to the seo of that particular windows 7 end of life services page depending on the link.

Perhaps you could have a text style menu at the bottom of the page in small font. This would help with seo I would think. I see this quite a bit.
