Im putting together a new server quote for a small customer with 4 users. Currently they have the original HP Microserver (N40L) which has worked great but is now 6 years old. Im looking at the Microserver Gen10 but I would really like to get SSD's in it. I was googling the raid controller which is a Marvel 88SE9230 and it supports something called HyperDuo. This is basically an SSD hot cache for the spinning drives which sounds great but i cant find any reference of it in the HPE Microserver Gen10.
Does anyone know if the HPE Microserver Gen10 supports HyperDuo or similar?
What are peoples thoughts of Raid1 SSD's? I know i have read in the past about TRIM not being supported etc?
