Microserver Gen10 - HyperDuo?

Im putting together a new server quote for a small customer with 4 users. Currently they have the original HP Microserver (N40L) which has worked great but is now 6 years old. Im looking at the Microserver Gen10 but I would really like to get SSD's in it. I was googling the raid controller which is a Marvel 88SE9230 and it supports something called HyperDuo. This is basically an SSD hot cache for the spinning drives which sounds great but i cant find any reference of it in the HPE Microserver Gen10.

Does anyone know if the HPE Microserver Gen10 supports HyperDuo or similar?

What are peoples thoughts of Raid1 SSD's? I know i have read in the past about TRIM not being supported etc?

I have multiple servers running ssd's in raid 1 with no issues, one for over 2 years, so I say go for it. The chances of both ssd's failing at the same time is pretty slim, just like anything though backup is key. Forget about hyper duo and use another raid for your data, to be honest I've never really trusted the hybrid stuff.

I have some of the prior generation HP MicroServers running pairs of RAID 1 Crucial SSDs....run like greased lightening! Server 2012 and 2016.
I use those "IceBlock" hard drive cradles in that generation MicrosServer....those cradles you'd get the 2.5" WD 10krpm Raptor drives in, converting them to 3.5".

Haven't gotten a Gen10 Micro in yet...probably won't...I try to avoid AMD.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I have decided to quote a HPE ML10 - Xeon, 16GB, 4 x 1TB SATA (2xRaid1)). The ML10 was better value than the Microserver Gen10 but the onboard Intel RST Raid doesnt support SSD Raid1 due to lack of TRIM and can cause speed issues. I decided to go with standard SATA drives as demand is low and as they are HPE branded they are covered under the Server warranty.
