Issue with Remotes Working on Two TVs at Same Time

Got a new 48" LG OLED C1 to use as a computer monitor.

The remote control for this TV does the same thing to my 2019 Vizio Quantum X TV and vice versa. And, Roku remote does same thing to both.

E.g., press power button on any one of the three remotes and both turn on or off at the same time.

Super annoying.

What to do?

Depending on the type of remote.
If it's the line of site type like infrared (IR), and you don't care about using the remote on the monitor, just cover the sensor with a piece of tape.
If its a radio frequency (RF), you may be out of luck....

You could potentially cover it with one of those plastic stick on WebCam covers and have a slider. That way you can still use. Just a thought.
