Any help, tips, or suggestions?

Note: Yes I am aware that my site is in flash. Refrain from telling me that SEO doesn't work with flash. The text are all embedded using html and are still viewable in search engines. (Try highlighting, copying, and pasting the text)

With that being said. As far as wording, what would help the placement of my site in search engines.

I know you weren't really looking for a critique, but its very gray and bland. And its a bit slow, are you hosting this on your computer?

Thanks for your critique. But none of that is entirely relevant to SEO. No one in my area that I know of has any trouble viewing my site. I have loaded it from my computer, my mac mini, my girlfriend's hp, best friend's dell, and so forth. Have also tried on various connection types and ISPs (Verizon 4G Tethering, Time Warner, Comcast High Speed, etc.)

Sidenote: I found the black wood on your website very abstract and unrelated to anything technology. Not important though.. since we are discussing SEO.
With that being said. How is the SEO on your site? How high are you ranked? How long did it take you to achieve this? What keywords did you target?

I didn't say that anyone had trouble viewing it . . . if I wait here long enough I can view it. My point was that it is very laggy, which is just annoying. Hosting a website is like 5 bucks a month. There really is no reason not too.

Thanks for the advice.

It loaded up really fast for me. And yes, page speed does have a bearing on SEO.

I think your main problem regarding SEO is lack of actual content.

Also, your title is just: Home - www.hightechrex.com

And you've got a about half dozen h1 tags with nothing really SEO'd in them

Yep, you need to change your title. Needs to include what you do and your location first then your business name. The order of search importance is what you want.

Without content, good luck. There are some online tools on submitedge.com which will allow you to see how well your pages are optimized for the search terms you are going for.

You do have some content on your homepage but not a lot. Is there any real reason why you went with flash?

There is also no content on your services page, however, you do have content on your individual services pages. Just make sure that they are SEO optimized for your search terms.

Oh, and too much gray does kill SEO . . . ;)

Seriously, I'm only taking the time to respond to help a fellow nibbler, so take it constructively please:

1.) Your page titles have a ten digit number in them, rather than a keyword rich description of the content

2.) It's not super obvious that the user should click on the blue arrows to read more about something. Higher bounce rate equals penalty by Google

3.) I'm trying to keep my comments directed at SEO, since you made it clear you don't want design advice. That's hard, but let's discuss the flash thing. Can I see this page on my ipad? If not, you're missing more than 2% of all searches, and I'd have to speculate Google will penalize you because that's not the user experience they're trying to deliver to their searchers.

here goes.

alright. I've made alot of changes and have added alot more content. Is this better?

Changes Made
Keyword rich titles added
Keyword rich content added
Less grey. Increased color variation and textures
other misc. changes

One point - you don't just need one landing page. For SEO purposed, you want several, each focussed on a certain search string. The the more focussed they are the better the SEO results, especially geographic focus.

Again, prioritize you title line. Use keywords that are going to be the most searched and that are most relevant to your site. Relevancy is key in SEO.

In other words, most people looking for tablet repair, will probably look for a computer shop. No need to water down the rest of your words by including it in your title. If anything, have a separate page for mobile devices and SEO optimize that page for tablets and smart phones and include those words in the title.

Still not a whole lot of content on the home page. Might be able to get away with it if you have little to no competition that have sites with little to no SEO optimization.

Service page has lots of keywords, but probably too many. Stick to keywords that people are going to use when searching for a computer shop. Stick to keywords of services that you most often provide or that is most often searched or needed.

Content in general should not be a list of items or services. Content in the google algorithm means real natural sentences. You want to add descriptions on your pages of your services with real sentences that include your keywords. Its ok to list your services, but you need some actual content to compliment those lists.

The fact that you have several pages with some content is going to help. The more pages and the more often you update or add pages, the more google likes you.

This is all I can do for now. If I get a minute later, I will look into it further.

If I were you I'd run an AdWords campaign pointing to your current site to keep the work coming in.

Then you can take your time in checking out high ranking computer repair websites to see what they are doing content-wise.

Yes. I've been running an adwords campaign over the past 3 months. Currently bringing in about 20-35 calls a week from my campaigns. About 15-25 of those result in an actual customer. Only thing is my budget is at about 100-200 a week. Thats why I'm working on the optimization of my page so that i can eventually lower my adwords budget to like 75-100 a week.
