I've got a strange issue in which flash audio will not work in a client's machine in any browser--Chrome, IE, FF, or Safari. Audio for every other aspect of the system works great, The OS is Vista x64. Things I've done:
1. Verified sys. is clean of malware. (MSE/Avast BART/SAS/MBAM/TDSSKiller/ComboFix)
2. Uninstalled/reinstalled all Flash versions with Revo. With no extra Flash plugins installed, Chrome's built-in Flash had same issue as well.
3. Uninstalled/reinstalled audio driver w/Revo.
4. Verified proper cache settings in Flash Player's settings.
5. Followed this guide: http://www.codecguide.com/fix_for_flash_sound_problems.htm
6. Tried this registry fix: http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-22335-no-sound-on-internet
7. Verified that Flash is not muted in audio mixer. (or in Flash settings/windows either)
8. Ran SFC.
9. Unistalled any codec packs/audio managers that could be taking application control.
10. Issue persists in a new, clean user account.
Nothing above helped. Anyone have any suggestions?
