Can't reach websites but everything else ok.

Last week, my laptop had an issue where I couldn't reach any websites, I could print, open email, get to OneDrive, whats app worked. I could not find a problem used MSConfig, disabled all services, rebooted, still nothing. I decided to rebuild it, and now it works fine.

Today, my desktop is behaving the same way. I am using Datto av and rocketcyber. I can't disable Datto AV but I can disable RocketCyber. However, I can't access any webpages, email works, WhatsApp works etc...

Safe mode with networking works.. even though I disabled all services with msconfig????

Since the original problem was one computer worked and one didn't, it's not likely a problem with your service.
Who is your ISP? Just in case, reboot your router & ONT if you have one
Same problem wireless vs. wired?
Can you ping, say 8.8.8.8? If yes, then your connection is good.
Can you ping www.google.com? If you can ping 8.8.8.8 but If NOT www.google.com, then your DNS is broken. Change DNS servers to see if that helps. If YES, then your browser is broken.

My money is on DNS because, well, it's always DNS.

I couldn't figure out, so I rebuilt this computer as well, malware scans ran and quarantined, but nothing important, never fixed the issue. I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with my Datto AV, RocketCyber.

I know you've already solved it, but one thing I would do in that situation is boot that computer from a live CD like an Ubuntu or other maybe Windows PE type of CD so that you're connecting to your network with the same network interface, whether wired or wireless, so it's the same MAC address, probably getting the same IP from your router, and see how that behaves.

Of course, you would check your DNS, but if that behaved differently, that would tell you the problems within your operating system software or settings, and if it behaved the same, then it points to something upstream, maybe in your router or firewall.

I've seen this (horked security software breaking things) as well. Luckily, it isn't a common problem. It's a difficult conversation to explain to a client that the security stuff you sold them is the cause of a problem.
