Better way to uninstall Office 2007?

So I needed to uninstall Office 2007 from a machine. As usual when uninstalling any program, I used Revo Uninstaller using the Advanced option. After the Office uninstall ran, Revo did it's usual registry scan, which took over 15 minutes, and found 34024 leftover registry items?!? Then on to the files and folders scan, which found 1046 items?!? Then a reboot and CCleaner scan revealed another 63 registry issues. If you don't believe me I can provide screenshots.
I mean, really? Is Microsoft so sure that nobody is ever going to uninstall office that their uninstaller does such a horrid job of cleaning during the uninstall? What kind of state is this going to leave the registry?

Now to the real question: Is there a better way to uninstall Office 2007? I want to make sure that this is cleaned up thoroughly and properly.

While I continued to clean up the PC, I've found that few, if any of the Office updates were uninstalled with the Office uninstall.

Boy, what a mess. Maybe it would have been easier to just N&P.

Thanks, I'll check them out for the next office uninstall. Like I said, it did run the uninstall like it was supposed to, it just didn't work like it should
I'm curious if it would do any better than Revo. I do have an image of the PC, maybe I'll apply that to a different hard drive and give it a shot.

I checked out the webpage, and notice he had some scripts listed. It's a shame that someone has been spending the last several months populating the batch scripts page with spam (I didn't count, but it took over 5 minutes to download that one page on a T1).
