Any favorite duplicate file remover utilities?

I have a client who really, really needs to clean up their system from files, particulary images, that have somehow gotten duplicated (I couldn't figure out how some of them could even have done so). This isn't an instance of a virus.

There are so many of these utilities out there, and some are probably crap while others will work beautifully. Thus, I'm asking about experiences with these and which might come recommended.

I keep DupFinder on most of my machines. Don't know whether it is the best but does the job for me.

I would however recommend some trial runs to get used to it. I've used it to clean up my wife's abysmal habit of leaving pictures scattered all over her computer. I have to be careful though because she sells quilts for a living and she uses the pictures to post them on Etsy. She's just not very good at maintaining a consistent folder structure.

I found one (paid) that I really think looks interesting/promising for "your average person on the street" end user: EaseUS DupFiles Cleaner.

The free download lets you "take the full tour" of the functionality without allowing you to actually do the cleanup, but it's the UI that makes it different, and particularly user friendly for this task.

Worth checking out if you work in the residential market and someone needs a duplicate file finder and cleaner.
