A rash of dead CPUs? Crazy "luck" or a trend?

It is also possible with the right, or maybe wrong, parts or combination of parts for those to result in dead CPUs namely I would look at Motherboards, Coolers, and PSU as the potentially faulty or inadequate part to result in CPU failure. Were these stock systems or customized rigs?

Stock pre-built gaming machines. All were using decent hardware.. and the rest of the system seemed to work fine after.
