Been finding that diagnostics, recovery and repairs seem to be taking that much more time as drives get bigger and more data is piled on them.

In 1989 I watched the techs in the Bloomberg datacenter installing one gig CORE drives and I said the same thing you did. One day people will laugh a 4 terrabyte drives.
