Vista hell on Toshiba laptop, ideas?

Ran UBCD4win on it. Both the key finder programs had an error saying the machine isn't newer then win 2000 & is not supported. I tried the remote registry editor & it couldn't find Anthony & came back with an error. Any ideas?

UBCD4WIN also has Registry Restore Wizard on it. You can try that, and then the instructions above but if the drive was really hosed it probably won't work. Which means, back to the customer for any help he/she may be able to provide.
