Executive summary:
connects to monitor using micro-usb -> HDM adapter
bluetooth keyboard/trackpad (apparently mouse / keyboard also easily do-able)
bog standard android device (in this example a Galaxy Nexus) is surprisingly very functional as a 'computer', with a working desktop, mouse control, scrolling, applications, etc etc
within 2-3 phone / OS generations this will likely be an available consumer option (We're talking maybe 12-18 months, folks!)
