Ubiquity / Unifi Cloud Key availability?

Seems Amazon and my local Microcenter are pretty low on availability for many Unifi products. Are there any other retailers you could recommend? Particularly looking for a cloud key gen 1 or 2

Yep. I did a few CK G1's in the beginning. But after I setup my own controller I've not gone back. It's far easier to manage. Not to mention one less piece of onsite hardware to have a problem.

If you're going to be rolling out Ubiquiti hardware, do yourself a favor and get setup with Hostifi
They'll spin up a controller for you that is multi tenant. They charge in tiers base on number of devices.

Ubiquiti hardware is just starting to come back into stock, we've been waiting for 48 port both non POE and POE Pro switches...some started arriving this week finally. We keep a big stockroom of Ubiquiti hardware...both Unifi and Edge and air* products.

Not sure where you are in MA, my office is right on 395 just south in Waterford CT....I usually throw away Cloud Keys...may have a few kicking around the office though if you're stuck. But I encourage you to use Hostifi.

Where do you host the controller?

I use my Azure benefit from my MAPS. One can spin up a B2 machine that's only some $30/month. Did the same for another tech I partner with in his business using his MAPS. But there aren't many in each one, less than a dozen. If I had something more substantial I might self-host or pay for a VPS. The only catch with self-hosting is making sure you have a viable backup Internet and enough properly positioned and configured UPS.
