I've got a laptop on the bench. Which is freezing.
I have updated all the drivers, scanned it. Its clean as far as I can tell.

But I get an error message. The following boot-start or sustem-start drivers failed to load : Tosrfcom

Event id 7026

(Before I updated the drivers I was also getting event id 17 BTHUSB The local bluetooth adapter has failed in an undetermined manner and will not be used. The driver has been unloaded.

I haven't had that error since doing the updates.)

I have googled this and know it is to do with the bluetooth, which customer uses to connect to windows phone.

Any ideas how to fix? I can't see any other reason that this machine keeps freezing.

I am wondering if the bluetooth adapter inside the laptop may be faulty?

Any ideas to try would be gratefully received.

I would try a live cd although I don't know how good linux support is for Bluetooth..

Roll back drivers. Fetch them from Toshiba. We've seen many times the new drivers don't work correctly on older hardware. If problem is isolated to the BT drivers, that is where I'd start.
