Hi all,

I've taken over support for a company whom had an MAK key for Microsoft Office 2010. I need to reinstall the software on workstations as it was previously directly on the server and launched using TS Remoteapp.

In any case, I am a microsoft partner already however I can't seem to find my way to the software?

I currently have 1) Microsoft Office PKC software and 2) Microsoft Office Home and Business PKC

The key that I have does not work in either of them.

Where can I get this software? and/or do I need to upgrade my Microsoft Membership in order to be able to download the proper version?

Any help would be appreciated!

You would need to download it from the Volume Licensing Service Center

https://www.microsoft.com/Licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx

They should have a login for that site.

Thank, I tried but I was unsuccessful. While I did manage to get certain Office 2010 professional plus evaluation versions, I could not get the technet/msdn version that accepts vlk / mak keys.

If anybody could assist me here I would really appreciate it!

Regards,

Office 2010 Professional Plus will activate with the MAK key. I would venture to guess you have a key issue or they are not using MAK if this is not working. They MAK can only be used for the amount of licences that were purchases. MS understands that it moves machines or HDDs so you will need to call and tell them you need a few more MAK keys - of which they will supply to you for free. It will be the same key as before, they will just add the amount of licenses that are authorized for use.
