Things i have tried.
1. another power supply and battery and cmos battery both batteries are within normal working voltages.
2. removed battery and cmos battery for 24 hrs put them back nothing green power light goes on no fans or hdd drive spinup or back light tried the power button trick.
3. checked power jack and board voltages are normal.
4. removed hdd and wireless card incase of malfunction.
5. tried other ram that is known to be working.

The machine died right after a windows update according to customer have herd that bios updates where being pushed for win 11 tpm compatibility it might have bricked the system.

Has nothing to do with the BIOS. ThinkPad Edge are notorious for blowing voltage regulators. Bad motherboard cost more to fix than it is worth.
