I have been reading about DX12 for some time and have seen so much wrong information some people claiming dx12 will only work on a new video card, well they are WRONG DX12 will support old cards.
Other claims DX12 will double video ram in sli also wrong, sli does not work that way anyone who knows how sli works knows this is not the case.
EA devs posted in forums that DX12 should be the min requirements for gaming by 2016 lots of posts of people spewing out the above statement saying why should i have to buy a new video card lol.

DX12 will allow high end video cards to scale better because the API works at a lower level than DX11->DX9 the result in some games is a HUGE increase in frame rates.
