The title is meant to be inflammatory, and the post in partial jest, considering the past "They copied Apple!" B.S. (Icons; rounded edges on a case, really?!)

Apple admitted today, after almost 10 years that they were wrong and that the rest of the world was actually correct. iOS on an iPad SUCKS. So, they made iPadOS, which is really just a re-branded spin-off of iOS, because... iOS SUCKS so bad they couldn't figure out how to make iOS work with two different sized screens. Not to worry, Apple can still determine if you're fixing your phone with a non-Apple home button.. but those pesky product ID's and Serial Numbers burned into hardware are harder than heck to pull up in software! We need a new OS for that! Somehow Microsoft and Android managed but not Apple!

Here's what iPad users get to look forward to, and why a BRAND NEW OS is needed!

Home screen with Widgets o_O
Multitasking Gestures o_O
Improved File App - Now supports SD cards and USB drives and SMB and Importing Photos! Wow! o_O
Safari browser is now "Desktop Class" (Whatever that means lol!) and has a download manager! Wow! o_O
Improved Apple Pencil support - 20ms(50fps) to 9ms(110fps) - because people that can barely discern 30fps need that... o_O

Still no mouse support. Hmm.

Why is Apple copying everything Android is doing and has been doing for years? I thought it was Apple that said these things, were things of the past? Were they wrong? How could Apple, the "killer of desktops" and conventional computing now be moving to conventional computing?

Because it works and works well... and Apple is having a sales problem.. ooohhhh.

It's getting awfully tiresome hearing about how much "creative professionals" will enjoy this update... Hey, Apple, listen up.... NOBODY IS USING iPADs for creative work, that is a professional. Ouch. Professionals use professional gear.. not toys with garbage computing power and cloud-only garbage.

The writing "creative pro" got a bum-ass laptop keyboard 3 times in a row.

The audio "creative pro" can't get you to implement USB-C audio interfaces to make their MIDI controllers work - and for the stuff that will physically connect.. you don't have support for. Go look at Youtube for "Professional Audio Studio Computer".. it's safe to say 90%+ are recommending PC's because they DO have support for audio hardware. The other 10% are stuck in Logic Pro.. nothing wrong with that, but that's virtually the only thing making them stick with Mac if Logic Pro is their choice software.

The photo "creative pro" prefers a Core i9 that doesn't throttle; run woefully slow to their competitors even if it weren't throttling, and the rest of the industry has touchscreens, some actually professional like Wacom, Huion and XP-Pen..... but Apple says NO to touchscreens on their computers.

From Apple SVP of Software (June,2018):
Federighi believes that putting a touchscreen on MacBooks is unnecessary because MacBooks are made in a way that the only thing a user is ever going to need are the keyboard and trackpad, and that the ideal way to use a laptop is to rest both palms on its surface — not to reach over and touch the screen.

Wrong again, bub!

The Video "Creative Pro" doesn't see much to like as far as graphics card options go.. and encoding in Adobe SUCKS.. see, even Dave Lee says so..

So, while Mac users wait years and years for Apple to make mundane UI changes and add a button here or there, things that should take 15 minutes... the rest of us will just customize the PC system for our uses, if need be. See, 'we' can do that, whereas you have been disallowed from doing so until Apple decides your not a child anymore.
