Hi,

Just signed up my team for Syncro but would like to hear from anyone out there who has used this before please.

1. How does the charges go? I have 2 techs besides me plus an Office Manager / Accounts. Would this be the per user rate? Or is the user rate.. your client numbers? Just want to clear things out.

2. What is PSA and RMM stand for?

3. Does this work with Linux clients?

4. Can the billing integrate with an online accounting package such as xero.com? If there is another accounting package that works with it, would be great to know.

Thanks again for your patience with us.

Cheers,

Karotu

Woohoo! .. #4. It works with xero.com. Awesome. See syncro integrations.

Just also curious,
What AV does it uses? We are a reseller for Kaspersky. Wondering if this works with it.

Cheers

Works well with Xero.
You can buy Emsisoft or bitdefender through Syncro.
I think they also integrate with webroot now but not sure if you buy from them or supply your own licenses.
Can integrate with malwarebytes as well but you supply the licenses.
They don’t have a Linux client and the Mac client has been in beta for a long time.
You pay the monthly cost for each user/staff that needs access. You can have as many clients/endpoints as you like at no extra cost.

Heres the part of Syncro that may be confusing.

Its $99 per seat per month or $1188/yr. Seat is as I read it as per technician. So if your a one-man show, thats your cost. If t's say per user of a client, that would be astronomically high. If you have 10 users at a clients business, thats $1000/mo.

Hardly anyone uses a PSA. Hell, I have a free PSA with Pulseway and never use it as I have my own ticketing system that is much more simple to use.

Whats not mentioned by Syncro and goes against their "Say hello to transparent, simple pricing" statement, is that there's extra charges per month for the anti-virus you choose, but its not listed on their website the cost of it, probably $1 or $2 per month per machine, not user. But thats probably only with Emsisoft &/or Bitdefender as all others are just integrations so theres the expense of the license for that.

Syncro is a collaboration between Repairtech and RepairShopr. Repairtech made/makes Kabuto MSP which they abandoned along with the paying customers for Syncro. RepairShopr is the PSA you'll get with Syncro it seems, just re-branded.
