I bought SAS Professional last year for my family PC. I thought it was a lifetime license (would not have purchased otherwise) and the receipt/invoice says nothing about it being for a limited time period. Three weeks ago Avast tech support said to uninstall SAS Pro to keep Avast from crashing. This week l reinstalled SAS Pro and now it is saying the subscription expires next month. Yesterday, I contacted their customer service but they insist that what I bought was just a 1-year license even though their copy of the invoice and receipt does not say that.
This treatment just rubs me the wrong way.
I am considering warning about 4,000 PC users to avoid SuperAntiSpyware.
Has anyone else here ran into this problem?
