Just received notice from Spectrum/Charter. Basic Internet service around here just went from 200 to 300 Mbs. Both Ookla and Google is putting it at ~320 Mbs.

I just got a quote to upgrade my business fiber line from 500mbps to a full gigabit. I think I will go for it. Pretty good for being in a small town in middle of nowhere where many are stuck on phone company dsl or satelite.

Damn sounds great.
I'm in the "burbs" of an Australian Capital City and believe it or not there's no broadband service available.
The only internet I can get is Wireless beamed from a tower about 1km.
It's about 45~50mbps but its fast enough to do what I need.
Most residential properties get NBN through the old copper lines that have been around for 50 years or more.
The lucky ones who got fibre NBN before they canned it are sitting pretty.

According to the government we have "world class" internet so...yeah.
