I recently updated a network and the new Unifi switch is much noisier than the smaller switch it replaced. It's just the increased fan noise for the much bigger switch. (Nothing wrong with it)
The patch panel is directly mounted to the wall and the switch sits below that on an ordinary shelf.
I was thinking of one of those wall mountable rack enclosures but I would assume those have significant fans as well?
There is an employee that works pretty close to all of the network equipment, which is why I am looking for a solution.
