Some clients just aren't worth it.

@timeshifter, thinking about alternate viewpoints actually helps my focus. We should be mostly engineers around here, gears turning and connections made are kinda the fundamentals of the work. But yeah, we have to ensure no hostility shows up, because there aren't many correct answers in that sphere.

I've observed comments from posters on both sides of the political system on this board. I don't think this is the place for that. As much as I'd like to chime in when I read certain things here, I refrain.
I can safely say I am not one of those. And I agree with you that this is not the place. I go out of my way not to engage with clients on politics, religion or anything else that might be controversial.

@Porthos, what you mean people that professionally analyze and maintain complex systems might be more qualified to analyze and maintain complex systems?!?

That's at least the second time today you've expressed sheer lunacy! ;)

I hate that im technically classed as a millennial (born in 87), im nothing like them! I have never had an attitude like they do
Not everyone thats a millennial is a problem or think they are entitled - I get that. Its just that the ones that have given a problem or thrown a tantrum have all been millennial's - in my shop.

Hope I am reading this as a joke. Or do have to quantify or explain something in a different way?

Nope, you've got it! The simplest answer is usually correct after all. It's just so utterly dumbfounding how complicated everyone wants to make things.

Hire people that are actually good at what they do...
Treat people the way you want to be treated...
Pay attention to the actions of an individual, instead of the words of the individual, this goes double true when watching groups of individuals...

Results > Intentions

The world is so much simpler when these rules apply.
