ok, so I bought a used rack server. The
HP ProLiant DL360.
It’s a rack server. Problem is they sent me 6 power cords(all the same).
The issue is the male end of the plug. It has a barrier of plastic surrounding the metal prongs. You can’t plug it into a conventional wall outlet. Data centers must have unique receptacles for these server plugs.
The question I have is how do I plug the male end into the wall? It’s impossible with these plugs. What am I missing? Will it be okay to get two( yes there are two PSUs) conventional computer power cords and use them instead?
