Hello all.

Getting closer to finally opening my new computer repair shop. I am having
trouble deciding on a logo.

The more I look at my existing logo, the more I don't like it. It is the logo in
my signature at the bottom of this, and all, my posts. So, I have sat down
and designed a few different logos.

I was wondering if I could get some input here on the board. Please DO NOT
HOLD BACK. Please give me honest opinions. I have placed all of the logos I
am deciding between here: http://www.nepcrepair.com/logo_samples.html

Keep in mind that this logo will be going on our business cards, our store
sign (it's 8ft by 2ft), letterheads, etc. Also, it will probably eventually go
on our website.

Also, keep in mind that since I designed these myself, they can be altered.
I can change fonts, colors, spacing, etc.

Let me know what you all think, and again, don't hold back.

Thanks to all!!

I realize the more you look at something, the more you tend to not like it (I'm in the same boat with my NEW logo), but what aspect of your current logo do you not like? I personally like your current logo. The graphics in the new ones you presented do not represent 'computer business' to me at all...they seem too generic in nature. And I really like your current tag line too.

Thank you for your input.

I do like the current logo as well but, it just doesn't look as new and fresh as
other logos that I have seen out there. To me it is "acceptable". I was hoping
to come up with something that looks "newer". However, I do like the current
one too.

The tag line came from my wife and everyone that sees it, likes it too.

Thanks again.

I like the current one you have. Also like sample 2.

Picking out a logo is never an easy thing.

I like 1, 3, 2 in that order although the current one might be good if the colours and typeface was change. It looks a bit dated to me. I'm not sold on "computer writing" typefaces. I find 1 to look the most modern and professional.

For some reason it feels like you ought to have NorthEast or North-East rather than Northeast

It does look a bit dated. That is why I am looking to change it. Also, I noticed
that the font and colors are not smooth. I'm changing them now.

Also, as per your suggestion, I think that I will change the font as well. Do you
have any suggestions on a new font? Also, I will try a change to NorthEast
instead of the Northeast. (good idea, thanks)

Your current logo definitely makes it look more 'technology orientated'. Plus having two colors on the logo, I think, would be make things cheaper with printing. Anyways, if I was a new customer looking for your services, your logo would jump out to me saying: A mouse! They must be able to repair even the most simplest things. A moon! They work till late. Excellent, now I can call anytime.

Any suggestions as to how? Maybe new font, smoother colors?

I made some new logos recently, and the general consensus was that the font made it look dated. I've been looking at a lot of fonts lately. You can search for free web fonts and you'll get a ton to start looking through. I like the ones that look more rounded. The sharp cornered, 'times roman' type fonts, I don't really care for.

I'm going cross-eyed looking at all the different fonts. Anyone have any ideas
as to a good font? Or even a font style?

I like your current one. The others don't stand out to me as 'pc-repair logos'...but that's just my opinion-:)....(whisper: keep your current one...lol)

I like your current logo. However, if choosing between the other three I'll vote for sample #2. Sample #1 looks like it would be good for a women's health clinic. I don't like the font in sample #3 nor the design, which I think I've seen somewhere before.

It seems that the current consensus is that my current logo is best. So...

I am keeping the current one...sort of. Right now I am working on changing the
font and lightening the blue color. I'll post it as soon as I'm done and then will
be wanting feedback.

Also, a BIG Thank You for everyone's input thus far.

Well here it is, the "new and improved" logo, it is attached below.

After viewing it in the browser it seems the colors look a bit rough. I have
no idea why it is doing that. I saved it in a .jpg. Is there another file format
I should be using?

Let me know what you all think.

I like both your old logo and the new one you just posted. However, the difference between them is really subtle. I'm not exactly sure what your goal is, but it sounds like you want it to be a little more modern. I'm not sure the new logo looks any more modern than the original. Still, though, both of them are good.

I like the last logo, when can you come round and fix my computers?

Seriously, do you think Henry Ford faced this dilemma?
