Has anyone come across outlook.com not sending emails from Brave, Edge and Firefox, but will work fine when in IE Mode within Edge?
The send button just does nothing when pressed and the console from the dev tools shows some js and other files have a status of error 404.
This happens on multiple computers and multiple browsers. Before testing other browsers i have cleared cache/cookies etc. There is no extensions installed in Edge, it was a fresh install of firefox and cannot find any thirds party ad blocking software on the computer. The tracking level in Edge is set on balanced.
This relates to a hotmail.com account

I use outlook.com for our business email and we are not having any issues with our account.

Everything MS does strange things from time to time, particularly in Firefox. But the Chromium based browsers all work.

If this situation persists for more than 24 hours, I'd assume malware or something on the system that's doing it. Try the account on another machine, it'll likely work. Heck, try the account on another user profile on the same machine, it'll probably work there too.

On another machine it does the same thing. I scanned for malware and it came back clean. A different profile on the web brwoser also results in the same thing, but i didnt try a different windows profile.
The customer couldnt wait any longer so has taken it back, i told them its probably something on the Microsoft end of things and because of that, unlikely i could do anything even if they gave me more time

If it fails on another PC then it is not the PC. Was this other PC onsite or back at your office? If onsite then it's DNS or a firewall issue.

Both were in my shop and the other was a PC that i use our emails on through outlook.com
Sounds like the end user's account is hosed. If it's a free outlook account, good luck getting help. If it is Microsoft 365, it's time to open a ticket. They usually respond within an hour.

Its a free hotmail account, i told the guy he will have to contact Microsoft about it, there is nothing i can do as its not his computer at fault. Never seen that issue before unless its a known wider issue.
