Optimised Ubuntu Desktop images available in Microsoft Hyper-V gallery

If you want to play with Linux, Microsoft just made this VM available. I downloaded the Ubuntu VM into Hyper-V on my Surface Pro 3. All told it took about 20 minutes and I have the Ubuntu VM running.
