[REQUEST] OK To Glue Home Button Gasket?

Customer's son took iPhone 6 apart and attempted to repair. Gave to me disassembled. Home button gasket was very dirty. Clean up and put back in and sealed with super glue. Works great. Is it OK that I did that to make it less likely to come apart?

If it's a device never to be opened again then you're good. Next time keep a roll of double-sided phone tape on hand.

@Diggs said it best. Next time just use the same tape you use for the screen edges and stick it in the tippy corners of the gasket. One corner will probably even do.
