Unfortunately, You probably should seek the help of a local technician. Performing tasks like these w/ no familiarity can cause great harm to your pc. Sorry I could not help you but like I said your best bet would be the services of one of your local techs.

have you thought of getting rid of msn then reinstalling?? Or doing a restore? also make sure you have no files left from the guy that sent the link to you.. and if you don't get it soon you should probably take it in and get it looked at.
I really hope you get it working

Shut down Messenger entirely by clicking on its icon and choosing Exit. Next, press the Start button, type cmd
and hit enter. Then type the following:
sc stop usnjsvc

and hit Enter.

Next click Start again and type:
%appdata%\..\local\Microsoft\Messenger
and hit enter.

Double click the folder corresponding to your e-mail address, then within that folder, drag
the ObjectStore folder to the desktop. Then click Back within that window to get back to the
Messenger folder, and delete all folders and files there. Leave this folder open.

Next, restart Messenger (the service we stopped earlier will restart on its own). After you
complete signing in again, the necessary folders will be recreated. Double-click on the
e-mail corresponding to your e-mail address, and then drag the ObjectStore folder back from
your Desktop into that folder (when prompted, merge the two ObjectStores, you can just move
and replace overtop).

Now try Sharing Folders again.

Yes I tries reinstalling but as I dont know what was sent to me now i cant uninstall it. I have used ccleaner and an msn virus removing tool and that seemed to work for a while but back it came, so now I have emailed all my contacts and advised them to run both of these tools so hopefully we are gettin close to getting rid of it lol any other adxice greatly appreciated
