So testing the waters between MHelpDesk and Repairshopr so I start a trial with both.

Next Day I get a call from Mhelp -- very nice asked if I had any questions at the end asked if I was ready to sign up, asked for some time to give it a shot.

Day 2 Mhelp calls again asks if I need help and once again tries to push me into signing up, asked again for time they said they would give me another week.

Day 5 I get an email from RepairShopr thanking me for the free trail and if I had questions please conract via email...nice!

Day 9 Mhelp desk calls back like they said they would, I had more questions and they say they can trailor to my needs but the setup fee for this would be an extra $99 + the monthly fee-- So I tell them about repairShopr -- this guy goes off on them saying there is no support, they are new and might not make it and pretty much asks for my credit card info to get going now.

So here I am asking Technibble the following:

What works better with Quickbooks online - Mhelp or RepairShopr?
If I need support with RepairShopr is it that bad?
If I need help with MhelpDesk is it true they are a 4 min response time like this guys said?
If I ask MhelpDesk for support is it an additional charge? the rep could not answer this question

I have GFI\SolarWinds, ScreenConnect and Quickbooks online, ReapirShopr integrates with all of them and Mhelp only does quickbooks. They say if enough people ask for integration they would look at it, but im not hopeful as they only support quickbooks and google calendar.....

Then there is the price, MhelpDesk is quite a bit more money per month, ask if they would meet RepairShopr Price with the required 2 accounts (I dont need 10) the guy basically told me "you get what you pay for"

Has anyone had both? what do you prefer?

Thanks!

Hey, I can't speak to mhelpdesk at all since I haven't seen it for years - but here is a thread where everyone says what they are using:

It's worth noting that the first response to your question is the guy from RepairShopr. And if you weren't a fan of Mhelp's pushiness, Troy didn't even mention that he was from RepairShopr.

I use RepairShopr (free account still... I'm slowly growing!) and really like the product. I haven't looked at Mhelpdesk so I'm not mhelpful there.

Troy didn't even mention that he was from RepairShopr.
True, but it is in his Sig. :p

I use Repairshopr. I'm fairly satisfied with it. One thing I would mention is if you go with Repairshopr, spend some time setting it up at first. Lots of options and ways to tailor it to what you need. It's easier to do at the beginning than later down the road once you have lots of data in it.

I hate when companies are pushy like that. That's why when I sign up for any demo/trial I don't use our or my phone number. I usually use my google voice which will just go to voicemail or just a fake number. Email is easy to ignore them.

If I have questions or want to buy and I can't find the answers or buy it from you online, then I will contact you to proceed.

Really hate cold callers too....they get blocked.

.... o_O

Not sure how I feel about having the supplier potentially calling the FBI, but since they probably never use those numbers anyway....
