Credit Card Swipers Now Supported
We have added support for credit card swipers. Any swiper that supports keyboard emulation will work. The particular model we tested against was an ID-TECH Minimag duo. Make sure you order one with keyboard emulation. Check out this video to see how it works

Email Alert Templates
We've added a couple new tags to the Email Templates under Settings > Customize > Templates. Specifically, the customer info and contact info have been separated. So you can now create email alerts with the contact's info or the customer's info. This is useful if your customer and contact for a job are not the same.
Rename a customer login
Customer login usernames can now be changed. In the past we defaulted to the customer's email address. Now you can edit the contact's username to whatever you like.
Hide Estimates from Staff/Contractors
A new setting has been added to hide the estimate from the staff and contractor. This is similar to how you can hide the invoice and payment info from staff members. This is useful in situations where you are assigning work to a sub-contractor and don't want them seeing the dollar amounts you are charging.
Assigning Jobs within Business Units improved
The Assign-to drop down on the ticket form has been filtered to only show members of a particular business unit. This will make assigning work easier since we no longer show the full list of staff members.
*Estimate and Invoice template tags simplified
We have added a side bar with all the special tags that are available in the invoice and estimate templates. Just click on what you want to add to the template and Mhelpdesk will insert it for you.*
